"Colony of Trees," a table and stools takes its title from a clonal aspen ecosystem—many trunks, one organism, joined underground through a shared root system. This structure is carried into form: individual pieces that stand on their own yet belong to a single, connected whole. Separate elements are bound by an underlying logic of relation and shared support.
